Well, things are certainly starting to heat up in Spain, and we’re not talking about the weather. For football fans, Spain’s La Liga is one of the world’s most exciting leagues. Home to many of the word’s greatest football players, the football played over there is extremely competitive, and certainly makes for very exciting viewing.

Now, we all know just how good Spain are as a team. They’re the best football team in the world, literally, as they were recently crowned World Cup champions back in the summer. For fans of La Liga, the action has really started to pick up in recent weeks, and it’ll come as no surprise to learn that Barcelona and Real Madrid are both in contention for the title.

Real Madrid

If Barcelona are favourites, you can probably guess who will be second favs for La Liga. Yes, it’s of course Real Madrid.

We’re currently six games into the season, five of which Real have won. Other than one defeat, things are looking good thus far, especially with Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappe both finding the net on a regular basis.

This past Tuesday, Mbappe found himself on the scoresheet again, when Real defeated Elche 3 – 2, taking them to 2^nd place in the table. When things are this tight, El Classico this season will surely be unmissable.
